  • 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar

In a medium saucepan, pour 2-3 cups of lightly salted water then add chicken breasts. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through. Allow chicken to cool in the broth. When cool, remove from broth and set aside. Heat vegetable oil in a separate pan over medium-high heat then stir in garlic, ginger, salt and sugar.
